New Pressure Relief Valve Delivers Superior Flow and Adjustability

Calibrated weight system allows customers to make in-field adjustments


STAFFORD, Texas, April 21, 2022 – LaMot Valve & Arrestor today announced the release of its newest product: the Model L11F Weight-Loaded Pressure Relief Valve.

Standard pressure relief valves provide relief from excessive internal pressure that may cause tank system damage. Designed to be used on tanks, piping, and low-pressure vessels, the L11F can be used as a stand-alone unit or in addition to existing pressure relief valves to add additional flow capacity. It also includes a calibrated weight system available in 0.5 osig increments that gives the operator the flexibility to adjust the set pressure of this valve on the top of the tank, eliminating the need to remove and retest in the shop on a test stand.

Made with aluminum casting, stainless steel seats, polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) pallets, and zinc-coated carbon steel weights, the L11F comes in sizes from two to six inches (50-150mm) and is available in pressure settings from 0.5-24 osig (in 0.5 osig increments) with leak rates complaint with API 2000.
